"Everything went to plan from start to finish from my point of view. I was slightly apprehensive at first with the investment but I shouldn’t have worried as I enjoyed a good working relationship with Bespoke Lofts."
Patrick Moureau, London
When Mr Moureau decided he wanted to extend his semi detached home by converting the loft, he contacted Bespoke Lofts on the recommendation of his work colleague, who knew owner Marc Loppas personally and could vouch for the quality of his work. After a free initial consultation and agreeing a budget, the work began in December 2010.
Mr Moureau wanted a loft conversion to create a large bedroom with ensuite for one of his two sons.
A hip-to-gable loft conversion was decided upon as the best course of action due to the property type and the goals of the project. This type of conversion calls for the use of steel girders which can sometimes pose a problem with access. However, this was overcome with the use of scaffolding which although more time consuming, didn’t cause issue or affect the timing or pricing of the project overall.
Despite some of the worst weather conditions in many years, Bespoke Lofts continued the work through the snow of December 2010 so as not to miss the agreed completion deadline. The ResultsBy February 2011 the loft conversion was complete and Bespoke Lofts rounded up the works by using their own in house tradesmen to tile the new en suite bathroom. The conversion now serves as a large and much appreciated bedroom for Mr Moreau’s eldest son.
